Following its successful debut in London, the exclusive La Grande Dame by Riva collection was launched in the heart of another world design capital: New York. The collection is a collaboration between Riva and Veuve Clicquot, to promote the new concept of "chic nomadism." On October 1st 2008 at the North Cove Marina in New York City, the launch party for the La Grande Dame by Riva collection was hosted with a crowd of about 250 guests. On view were some examples of the Cruise Collection, the elegant cabin bar, custom-made in the top French workshops and available exclusively by request, as well as the Cruiser Bag. In addition, VIP guests had the chance to admire a Rivarama, the 44 footer nicknamed, "the most refined floating suite of the world?.
